The National Kiwi Hatchery Aotearoa
The National Kiwi Hatchery Aotearoa is New Zealand’s largest Kiwi conservation centre with all visitor proceeds going towards rearing the endangered Kiwi chicks for release back into the wild.
The research done at the National Kiwi Trust is used throughout New Zealand in Kiwi rearing facilities and by the New Zealand Department of Conservation.
A unique opportunity to learn about our world-renowned kiwi hatchery conservation programme. Private tour options include going “behind the scenes”, to be part of conservation in action by sponsoring and naming a kiwi, which you will then get to meet during your visit.
