The Helicopter Line Mt Cook

New Zealand's highest peak dominates the Southern Alps mountain range that divides New Zealand's South Island into east and west. Aoraki / Mount Cook was named 'Cloud Piercer' by Māori. You will see that for yourself on a flight over Ben Ohau Mountain Range and peaks of the Southern Alps that surround this storied mountain. Your helicopter will manoeuvre you to an alpine vantage point where it's safe for a snow landing and allow time to take it all in.
